1. FC Bocholt snatches talent from KFC Uerdingen

The latest Regionalliga match at FC Gütersloh ended in a spectacular 3-6 defeat. However, 1. FC Bocholt has strengthened its squad once again.

Ensar Celebi is swapping his KFC Uerdingen jersey for that of 1. FC Bocholt. The 18-year-old left-back is joining Hünting from KFC Uerdingen in the Oberliga Niederrhein. “With Ensar, we are getting a very young, exciting player who is versatile and has already gained some senior experience. He can also help our ambitious U19 team, which has been promoted to the Niederrheinliga. I am delighted to accompany Ensar on his journey and to help him develop further together with the coaching team,” said Bocholt’s sporting director and team manager Christopher Schorch. Celebi began his football training at Hombrucher SV before taking the next step via several renowned youth academies. His development took him to the youth team of FC Schalke 04 and the youth departments of MSV Duisburg and Preußen Münster.

In 2024, Celebi moved to the U19 team of KFC Uerdingen, where he had the opportunity to gain his first experience in the senior division of the Regionalliga West. In the past season, he made three brief appearances in the fourth division.
