In the overall standings, leader Verstappen further extended his already huge lead over Perez, with his third world title within reach.
World Champion Max Verstappen has set a new Formula 1 record with his tenth consecutive Grand Prix victory.
The Red Bull driver won the Italian Grand Prix in Monza on Sunday, beating the record set by Sebastian Vettel, who won nine consecutive races in 2013.
A 10/10 performance today @redbullracing
To win 10 races in a row, and 15 consecutive races as a team, is unbelievable! I’m beyond proud to achieve this milestone together
Today we will enjoy this moment and then we will keep pushing for more ☝

Second behind the Dutchman was his teammate Sergio Perez from Mexico, with Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz from Spain taking third place.
In the overall standings, Verstappen extended his already huge lead over Perez, with his third world championship title within reach.
A determined overtaking maneuver against Sainz after 15 laps secured Verstappen his tenth consecutive Grand Prix triumph.
“That’s a nice statistic,” said the Dutchman with a grin. “I never thought it was possible, but we had to work hard for it.”
“I just want to try to win the race. I’m not thinking about numbers. It would be nice to have the record, but in the end we are fighting for the world championship, which we want to bring home. It’s not about ten wins in a row,” Verstappen said before the start about the record within reach.
