How long will the team be in Croatia?

Only for a short time. While the trip to the game at Rapid Wien (2:2) a week ago turned into a three-day mini training camp, this time the team will travel there on Friday morning and return early Saturday morning. A training session in Split is not scheduled, as the match already starts at 6 pm and the Schalke players leave for the stadium about two hours before. A flight takes around two hours.

How many Schalke fans will be travelling with them?

On their website, the Schalke fans wrote that around 200 supporters would be flying with them to Croatia. Most of them are travelling together with the team. In contrast to the Vienna trip, the Königsblauen have chartered a plane. They went to Austria and back on a Eurowings scheduled flight, economy class.

What’s the weather like in Split?
