FC Wegberg-Beeck is putting together an incredible attack. At least that’s what the numbers suggest. The next goal scorer has signed.
Timo Agaltsev is now playing for the Mittelrheinliga club FC Wegberg-Beeck. In the past season in the U19 Mittelrheinliga, he scored 26 times in 24 games for Blau-Weiß Königsdorf and was involved in eight goals as an assist provider. This made him the league’s top scorer by a wide margin.
“Timo’s player profile fits our requirements very well. He is young, ambitious and has already shown an enormous goal threat for his age. Now it’s time for him to gain his first experience at senior level. I’m convinced that he can do it,” said Beeck’s coach Mike Schmalenberg.
His fellow coach Stephan Houben was also delighted to welcome the 19-year-old: “Timo caught our eye in both U19 games against Beeck. He already has a remarkable goalscoring instinct for his age and always knows how to position himself well in the game. Scoring 26 goals in the U19 Mittelrheinliga doesn’t happen by itself. He will do our team good with his ambition.”
Wegberg-Beeck recently introduced another top scorer. Pablo Ramm, top scorer in the Landesliga Niederrhein 1, turned his back on his previous club SC Kapellen-Erft.
The team from Beeck have just been relegated from the Regionalliga West and are clearly working on a squad that can aim for promotion again in the Mittelrheinliga. Ramm is one of them – and has the numbers to back up why.
Because in the past season in the Landesliga Niederrhein 1, nobody could hold a candle to the 23-year-old striker. 35 games, 31 goals, an outstanding rate. With 28 goals, only Fatlum Ahmeti (VfL Viktoria Jüchen-Garzweiler) could halfway keep up.
“Pablo was one of our absolute dream transfers. In the end, we were able to convince him of our concept. We are sure that FC Wegberg-Beeck will enjoy Pablo and welcome him warmly,” said Houben.
The duo were preceded by: Mehmet Yilmaz (center forward, Borussia Freialdenhoven), Justin Strauch (goalkeeper, Hennef 05), Luca Bini (midfield, SV Breinig), Paul Daniels (central defender, Borussia Freialdenhoven), Servet Aydin (central defender, SV Sonsbeck), Denis Massold (right winger, SV Sonsbeck)
