Arminia Bielefeld is preparing a fitting farewell for its legendary striker Fabian Klos during the international break. Well-known names will be there, including some from VfL Bochum.
Fabian Klos has become a legend at Arminia Bielefeld, and now the record player, record goal scorer, and honorary captain of the third division soccer club is getting his farewell game in East Westphalia. As the club announced at the beginning of September, Klos will take his “last dance” at the Schüco Arena on October 12 and celebrate his farewell with old teammates in his stadium.
“Over the past 13 years, I have gathered so many impressions, experienced so many emotions and celebrated so many successes. Now I am looking forward to bringing it all to a fitting close with my former teammates,” said the 36-year-old, who played 461 competitive games for Arminia between 2011 and 2024, scoring 180 goals. Klos announced his retirement this summer.
