Rot-Weiss Essen is scratching the mark of 10,000 season tickets sold. Many are no longer available.
Last season in the 3rd division, Rot-Weiss Essen had a spectator average of 16,448 per game.
This is likely to be similar in the coming season, the club already announced that a total of 11,907 season tickets will be sold, after which sales will be stopped.
9500 of these season tickets have already been sold. Current season ticket holders can still extend their ticket until Monday evening (10 July, 6pm).
Those who have a season ticket also have exclusive advance purchase rights for the DFB Cup match against Hamburger SV. Those who do not renew their season ticket will forfeit the privilege.
Season tickets that are not renewed by Monday will then be available for sale to other supporters. From Tuesday (11 July, 10.00 a.m.) to Wednesday (12 July, 8.00 p.m.), club members who do not yet have a season ticket will have the chance to purchase their season ticket.
If the number of 11,907 tickets is still not reached after that time, a free sale would start, for which RWE would provide separate information.
Essen’s first home game will be against Erzgebirge Aue. The first home win came against Aue last season. In the second home game, it will be really crowded at Hafenstraße, when promoted Preußen Münster present themselves at the Hafenstraße stadium.
