“Not likely, but possible”: Will Klopp and Liverpool pull off a miracle in Madrid?

Real Madrid hold all the aces tonight (9pm, CET) to progress once again to the quarter-finals of the Football Champions League. Coach Carlo Ancelotti’s side take a 5-2 first leg lead into their second meeting with Liverpool FC.

Liverpool in trouble

The English representatives will need a mid-table miracle to progress. Liverpool are also running behind the music in the Premier League, finding themselves sixth in the table and far from any title hopes. Coach Jürgen Klopp is finding it difficult to exude confidence.

“Even if there is only a 1% chance, I would like to try. We are here to play a very strong opponent and try to win the game. And even though it’s difficult, I think it’s possible. Not probable, but possible,” Klopp said.

SSC Napoli vs Eintracht Frankfurt is the second match, this one will also kick off at 9pm Central European Time tonight. A difficult task for Eintracht, as it presses the 0:2 from the first leg.
