SC Verl have made a final departure. The contract of an offensive player who was last on loan has been terminated.
The chapter SC Verl was not crowned with great success for Presley Pululu. Therefore, after only one year, club and player have decided to go their separate ways again. The 20-year-old’s contract was terminated by mutual agreement, the East Westphalians announced on Wednesday.
The attacking player had already spent the second half of the season away from Verl, but had played on loan for Hessen Kassel in the Regionalliga Südwest. SCV had signed the French winger last summer after he had caused a sensation with five goals in twelve appearances for SC Paderborn’s U21s in the Oberliga Westfalen.
But Pululu struggled in the 3rd Division. He only appeared on the pitch five times, was substituted in each case (79 minutes in total) and mainly gained match practice in the Westfalenliga reserve team of Verl.
Pululu played more regularly for Kassel in the second half of the season. He made twelve appearances – seven of them from the start – and scored one goal and one assist. It is not known at which club the former FC Basel youth player will continue his career.
Only that he will no longer play at the Poststraße. “Au revoir, Pres. All the best for your sporting and private future,” the club wrote in a statement.
