A-Ligist presents 13 additions – also ex-Oberliga striker and ex-Regionalliga goalkeeper

Essen A-League club ESG 99-06 has pulled off a little transfer coup. A former Oberliga player is coming. The club has a total of 13 new signings to report.

Ibrahim Ramadan, the new head coach of Essen SG 99-06, is happy that he was able to inspire his favourite player to join the A-League club.

Yusuf Allouche, who last played for SC 1920 Oberhausen in the Bezirksliga and was courted by various Oberliga and Landesliga clubs, is moving to Dinnendahlstraße 25a. “We are very pleased that we were able to convince Yusuf of our plans. This was a joint effort by many people. Our sports director Thomas Rausch should also be mentioned here. Thomas helped a lot with the signing,” Ramadan tells Forecasting.

The 28-year-old striker, who trained with Bayer Leverkusen and Rot-Weiss Essen, once also played 15 Oberliga games for SV Hönnepel-Niedermörmter. “He could also have moved to the Oberliga. Many clubs wanted him. But Yusuf meets his brother Mohamed Allouche with us. They always wanted to play together and now they can do that at ESG. In addition, Yusuf once told me that he wanted to play under me again after Winfried Kray. Now the time has come. I’m looking forward to our season together at Hubertusburg. We will do everything we can to ensure that ESG plays a successful season. What it will all be enough for remains to be seen,” says Ramadan.

In addition to Allouche, Ramadan welcomed Mohamed Allouche, Ahmed Alizzo, Mua Joan-Cloud Kum (all Al-Arz Lebanon), Benjamin Christ, Lorenz Opitz (both GTSV Essen), Deniz Dagdelen (TVD Velbert), Rida Hallak (SV Schonnebeck II), Mories Hundenborn, Dominik Meier (both Teutonia Überruhr), Justin Kotermann (SC 1920 Oberhausen), Mohamed Nozerian Turngemeinde Essen-West) and Christian Görres (last club-less).

The 31-year-old goalkeeper Görres was once trained at FC Schalke 04 and VfL Bochum. He also has eleven regional league games on his CV. “With him, we are getting a really strong back-up in goal,” Ramadan is pleased to say.
