Schalke finds new sleeve sponsor – jersey breast still bare

FC Schalke 04 has unveiled a new sleeve sponsor. It is still unclear which logo will be seen on the shirt front in the future.

In its search for sponsors for the coming season, FC Schalke 04 has announced that the deal is done – at least as far as the sleeve of the Königsblauen’s jerseys is concerned.

The company Hülsta will present its logo on this sleeve in the future. This was announced by S04 on Wednesday. Both parties have agreed on a contract until 2026. The Revierklub did not give any details about the financial details of the partnership.

Hülsta is a furniture manufacturer from Stadtlohn that has been a sponsor of Schalke for three years. Now the cooperation has been extended.

“As a strategic partner of S04, hülsta has already played a major role in shaping many hospitality areas in our VELTINS Arena with great ideas. The design and quality of the furnishings have always convinced us,” Schalke’s CEO Bernd Schröder was quoted as saying in a club statement. “That’s why I’m delighted both about the hülsta logo on the Knappen’s jersey sleeve and about the other joint projects in the VELTINS Arena and the Schalke offices.”

Schalke: No new shirt sponsor yet

In the second half of last season, the Whitefield Group logo adorned the jersey sleeve of the Gelsenkirchen team, which in turn had taken over from Harfid.

“FC Schalke 04 has a large and passionate fan base – both locally and nationally. We have a decades-long friendship with the traditional club from the Ruhr region,” explains Hülsta CEO Thomas Knecht. “The past years have been characterised by mutual trust and great joint projects. All this has motivated us to expand the partnership.”

It is still open who will take over Schalke’s shirt sponsorship for the coming second league season. Meinauto.de will no longer take the advertising space in future. Negotiations with Hydrogen Deutschland as a possible successor had failed.
