DAZN changes offer and price structure for new customers

Changes for new customers. In future, the streaming service DAZN will offer three different packages at correspondingly adjusted prices.

The streaming service DAZN has changed its offer and price structure. Accordingly, there will be three packages to choose from in future: the complete portfolio with the Champions League and Bundesliga (DAZN Unlimited); a package without the Champions League and Bundesliga, but with all other sports and leagues such as the NFL, NBA, European top football leagues, darts, golf and handball (DAZN Super Sports); and a slimmed-down offer, including the women’s Bundesliga, handball or darts (DAZN World). “Nothing will change for existing customers in terms of price,” a company spokesperson said on Tuesday.

The background to the measure: after the significant price increase at the beginning of 2022, customers had cancelled their subscriptions on the grounds, among others, that they were not at all interested in the Champions League and the German Football League and therefore did not want to pay more. “Based on feedback from our customers, we have created a very comprehensive package structure for new customers with offers that differ in terms of content, duration and flexibility,” the spokesperson said.

For the all-inclusive offer, new customers pay 29.99 euros per month for the first year, just like existing customers. If the annual subscription is extended by the customer, the price remains the same. Only if the customer switches to a monthly cancelable subscription would the price increase to 44.99 euros per month.

This arrangement also applies to the other two offers: For DAZN Super Sports, 19.99 euros per month are payable in year one (24.99 euros thereafter with a monthly cancellable subscription). DAZN World costs 6.99 euros (9.99 euros) for the first 12 months.
