Hirsch team suddenly fourth – praise for the team and goal scorer Fakhro

The 1. FC Bocholt is giving its fans a lot of fun this season. Especially at home on the Hünting.

Four home games, four victories: 1. FC Bocholt is a force at the Hünting! SV Lippstadt had to see this for themselves when they lost 1:2.

SV Lippstadt coach Felix Bechtold acknowledged the class of the opponent, but was also disappointed with the defeat.

Felix Bechtold summed up: “The game is difficult for all of us to cope with. We expected a lot and wanted to go home with points. If you look at the game, there were two good teams on the pitch. We were certainly not a deserving loser. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy here. Bocholt is already a board this season. But unfortunately we put two eggs in ourselves. I’m not happy right now, but rather disappointed that we’re now sitting on the bus for two hours and going to Lippstadt empty-handed. The clever team won at the end of the day.”

Meanwhile, Bocholt coach Dietmar Hirsch could of course be satisfied. He praised the team and his goal scorer Malek Fakhro, who can look back on six goals for the season after eight match days.

Hirsch: “I am happy about the result. Last year, Bocholt lost both games. You could also see that Lippstadt is a strong team. It took us a while to get into the game. But then we did well and went long distances. We often played man-to-man. We didn’t know that before, but the boys did it very well. It’s nice that Malek scored again from play and not from the penalty spot. That’s always important for a striker. We are happy to take this win, which is certainly not completely undeserved.”
