FC Schalke 04 is involving its 180,000 members in the club’s work. Now another wish of the fans has been implemented.

FC Schalke 04 has implemented another suggestion made by its supporters at the first members’ congress.

At the start of the season, the club reintroduced the popular ticket exchange for S04 home matches. Supporters can legally place their purchased tickets on the S04 ticket exchange again. The tickets will then be offered for sale again. If someone else buys the tickets, the original owner will be refunded the purchase price minus a 15 percent processing fee. This allows season ticket holders in particular to skip a match without being stuck with the ticket. Fans who would otherwise not be able to obtain tickets can benefit from this.

The Royal Blues have now also redesigned their inquiry system in the S04 ticket store for ordering away tickets in line with fans’ wishes. In addition to a more modern design, the handling has been made more fan-friendly.

Ticket requests are now displayed in real time. The previous waiting time until the request is displayed is now a thing of the past.

More importantly, ticket requests for co-orderers have been simplified. From now on, the data will be saved in the contact list of the main orderer. Manual entry is no longer necessary. In addition, requests from co-orderers can be canceled independently of the main orderer.

Fans also receive a confirmation email for all requests and cancelations. This also applies to attendance checks. This procedure will also be integrated into the new system. Attendance checks will check whether fans are actually using the tickets they have ordered. This is important as some of these tickets are allocated according to a points system.

FC Schalke 04 had announced its intention to hold such member congresses on a regular basis in order to involve its 180,000 members more intensively.
