Bövinghausen marches on – striker scores season goals four to six

The fact that TuS Bövinghausen is no ordinary Oberliga promoted team has been proven week after week at the beginning of the season. This weekend was no exception.

2:1 against Sportfreunde Lotte, 3:1 in the derby against ASC Dortmund, 3:1 against TuS Ennepetal and now a 3:2 victory at SV Schermbeck: TuS Bövinghausen seems to be unstoppable in the Oberliga Westfalen.

On Saturday evening, the promoted team even managed to come back from a 0:2 deficit at SV Schermbeck. Paul Stieber (18th) and Michael Smykacz (23rd) had given SVS an early lead. But Sebastian Tyrala’s side shook themselves once and answered in time – always in the person of Elmin Heric.

The Bosnian scored a treble (45th, 64th, 90.+4) and led TuS Bövinghausen single-handedly to their fourth win in their fourth game. For the 21-year-old Heric, it was his fourth, fifth and sixth goals of the season, and only after four matches.

Heric came from the Go Ahead Eagles U21 team in Holland before the season. He previously played for Fortuna Düsseldorf II. He trained with 1. FC Köln, Sportfreunde Siegen and TuS Erndtebrück.

With Bövinghausen, Rhynern and Clarholz, the Oberliga Westfalen currently has three teams that have not yet conceded any points. Rhynern and Clarholz meet in a direct duel on Sunday (3 pm).

Bövinghausen’s next match is next Friday (7 p.m.) against the second team of the second division SC Paderborn.
