Twelfth new signing is here! This time a 1.93 meter tall central defender

Tues Bövinghausen has struck again on the transfer market. Addition number twelve strengthens the defensive center.

Kian Licina joins Westfalen-Oberliga club TuS Bövinghausen – new signing number twelve. The club made the announcement on social media. The 20-year-old Licina comes from VfB Speldorf.

TuS Bövinghausen has thus secured a 1.93-meter tall central defender who was a regular in the Landesliga last season. The Montenegrin played 33 games there.

Licina trained in the youth departments of Schalke 04 and Rot-Weiß Oberhausen before moving to SG Wattenscheid 09 in the summer of 2022. He now found his way to TuS Bövinghausen in the Oberliga Westfalen via ASC 09 Dortmund and VfB Speldorf.

Licina, a former Montenegro U17 international, has already made 14 appearances in the U19 Bundesliga West (one goal), as well as six games in the Oberliga Westfalen and four in the Regionalliga West, in addition to 33 games in the national league.

TuS Bövinghausen have recently strengthened their goalkeeping options – with a former RWE talent. Julian Geitz is probably well known in the Ruhr region, even though he was most recently under contract with northern regional league club SV Drochtersen/Assel. The 23-year-old goalkeeper trained with Rot-Weiss Essen’s U17s and U19s from 2017 to 2020 after joining RWE from VfB Homberg.

In the summer of 2020, he then moved to Sportfreunde Niederwenigern, who were promoted to the Oberliga Niederrhein in the past season, and two years later to Drochtersen/Assel.

TuS Bövinghausen have already presented these twelve new signings for the coming season: Mahrab Khan (Adler Union Frintrop), Amel Bajle (Eintracht Dortmund), Elmar Skrijelj (Westfalia Rhynern), Dimitrios Papadopoulos (TSG Sprockhövel), Pasquale Conti (VfB Frohnhausen), Devin Ugur Rot Weiss Ahlen), Cliff Osa (SV HSMH), Leonardo Twumasi (Rot Weiss Ahlen), Amin Azzofri (SV Brackel), Dominick Wasilewski (TSG Sprockhövel), Julian Geitz (SV Drochtersen Assel) and Kian Licina (VfB Speldorf).
