BVB market values: Attacking duo conjure up and become more and more expensive

The new market values for Borussia Dortmund are here: In addition to two big winners, there is also a striking crash on the transfer market.

If it weren’t for Karim Adeyemi’s hamstring injury, the Borussia Dortmund national player would be able to increase his market value even further with performances like his three-goal gala in the Champions League against Celtic Glasgow.

But even so, his performances since the end of last season have been enough to ensure that the 22-year-old makes a decent leap in the update of the transfermarkt.de portal. And Adeyemi even has a teammate who has achieved the same.

In the new valuation by transfermarkt.de, Karim Adeyemi now has a new market price of 35 million euros. In his career, this was only higher in the summer of 2023, when the winger was valued at 40 million euros. In May, his value was still 28 million euros – the whopping increase of 7 million euros even makes Adeyemi one of the biggest winners of the current Bundesliga update.

Only Bayern Munich’s Aleksandar Pavlovic (from €30 million to €50 million) and Michael Olise (from €20 million to €30 million), Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush (from €22 million to €40 million) and Hugo Ekitiké (from €20 million to 0 million euros), Stuttgart’s Enzo Millot (from 30 to 42 million euros) and Angelo Stiller (from 20 to 28 million euros), as well as Leverkusen’s Jeanuél Belocian (from 10 to 20 million euros) increased even more in real terms than Adeyemi.

Gittens also increases in value, Reyna loses market value

Jamie Gittens is the second big winner in the adjusted BVB market values. Like his offensive colleague, Gittens was able to increase his value from 28 to 35 million euros according to transfermarkt.de. “Speed and creativity have always been Jamie’s hallmarks. With his unpredictability in one-on-one situations, he adds a very special element to our squad, despite his young age,” said Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl recently after Gittens’ contract was extended (until 2025).

“It’s fun to watch how he works on himself and his game. We are far from seeing the end of this development, and we will give him the time he needs.” That leaves three BVB players whose market values have been adjusted: For defensive newcomer Waldemar Anton (28), it went up from 20 to 24 million euros; the previously unrated, only 18-year-old wing runner Almugera Kabar is now valued at one million euros.

But there is also a big loser in Dortmund: the market value of Giovanni Reyna (21) fell from 18 to 12 million euros. In the Bundesliga, only the Bayern trio of Leroy Sané (from 70 to 60 million euros), Kingsley Coman (from 50 to 40 million euros), Leon Georetzka (from 30 to 22 million euros) and Stuttgart’s Chris Führich (from 28 to 22 million euros) lost out in the Bundesliga.
