Bielefeld game sold out – this is how fans can still get tickets for Mannheim

Great euphoria on Essen’s Hafenstraße! The fans are flocking to the fifth of the third division. RWE reported “sold out” for the next home game.

Three wins in a row – 2:1 against BVB U23, 2:1 against Saarbrücken and 2:1 against Duisburg – in the 3rd division. This has not happened at Rot-Weiss Essen for what feels like an eternity. The reward: fifth place after 13 match days. At RWE, fans are already dreaming of more.

The euphoria is correspondingly great. The stadium on Hafenstrasse seems to be slowly reaching its limits. In any case, the next game is sold out!

There are no tickets left for the game against Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday. The match on the 14th match day of the third division against the second-division relegated team is the third game of the current football year, after Münster and Dresden, to be held in front of a sold-out home crowd. For the first time this season, all tickets for the away section are also sold out.

In the six home games so far, RWE welcomed 101,302 spectators, which corresponds to an average of 16,884 fans per game. After the Bielefeld match, this will rise to around 17,200.

One week later, the next highlight awaits RWE – when it’s back home against traditional club SV Waldhof Mannheim (Sunday, November 12, 4:30 p.m.).
