Boss Dzaferoski – “We’re back in action and want to do better”

TuS Bövinghausen’s next game in the Oberliga Westfalen is on Friday evening. The match against Erkenschwick is set to be played to a conclusion.

On Friday, October 11, at 7:30 p.m., TuS Bövinghausen will host Spielvereinigung Erkenschwick. After Dortmund’s 0-8 defeat at SC Preußen Münster II during the week, TuS wants to finish the game after regular time this time.

As a reminder, TuS Bövinghausen was trailing 0-8 at halftime. The second half was not played because TuS requested an early termination.

“We traveled to Münster with only eleven players. Some were injured and couldn’t continue playing after 45 minutes. That’s a fact! So I don’t get why people are making fun of us. Even the home team. Sure, it’s easy for a second division team to talk. But the others are talking trash too. To me, that’s not fair play, it’s just schadenfreude. Sadly, that’s how most people are, they enjoy seeing others suffer. That’s our society,” says Ajan Dzaferoski.

However, the TuS boss, whose club is in bankruptcy, promises that the next game will be played to the end. “We currently have 14 or 15 players who are fit. We will definitely play and finish the game against Erkenschwick. I hope that we will perform a little better and achieve a decent result,” says Dzaferoski.

Nine games, nine defeats, 3:33 goals: it’s not easy for TuS Bövinghausen to take a beating week after week. Yet Dzaferoski says that the team isn’t that bad.

Dzaferoski: “At 55 years of age, I trained with the team during the week and was able to observe everything from the inside. I can assess the situation very well and have to say that we have some really good footballers. The problem is that the guys just aren’t a good team. We now have to see if we can get through this until winter, and then new personnel options will arise.”
