Is a crate exacerbating the crisis?

In a new episode of our talk show Inside VfL, we discuss the beer ban and the sporting development of VfL Bochum.

At the bottom of the Bundesliga table, VfL Bochum goes into its next competitive game at TSG Hoffenheim. Coach Peter Zeidler’s team was also unsuccessful in its test match against second division side 1. FC Köln.

After seven games without a win, he now also has to worry about whether or not beer will be allowed in the dressing room after games.

Presenter Annalena Fedtke discusses this with radio reporter Günther Pohl and WAZ reporter Markus Rensinghoff in our new episode of “Inside VfL – the Stadtwerke Bochum talk show from WAZ and Radio Bochum.”

The three first look back at the test match against 1. FC Köln. “I saw a lot of good things,” says Pohl. “Moritz Kwarten was good, as was Moritz Broschinski.”

Shortly after the test match, however, another topic dominated the discussion surrounding VfL Bochum. It became public knowledge that coach Zeidler had banned the players from drinking beer in the locker room after games. Rensinghoff’s main problem with this is that the information was made public. “That kind of thing doesn’t help. But it does make it clear that not everything is running smoothly at VfL Bochum at the moment. The question is, who is the mole at VfL Bochum?”
