KFC Uerdingen now has 18 players under contract. There are not many places left in the Oberliga squad.
The Friends and Supporters (FuF) have presented two more signings for KFC Uerdingen. This means that 18 players are now under contract with the traditional club, which will compete in the Oberliga Niederrhein. Seongsun You, the 17th signing, is a South Korean who is coming to Krefeld. The 25-year-old came through the youth ranks at Rot-Weiss Essen and was most recently on the roster of Oberliga club TuS Bövinghausen until the winter break.
Julian Stöhr, coach of Uerdingen, emphasizes: “I know You from his time in the Oberliga Westfalen. He performed consistently well there. He can play all positions in the back four and is therefore extremely valuable to us.”
New signing number 18 is Etienne-Noel Reck, son of former national player Oliver Reck. The 20-year-old center forward was under contract with Wuppertaler SV until June 30, where he made 16 competitive appearances (two goals, three assists).
Stöhr said of the 20-year-old striker: “Etienne has an enormous physical presence, is good at holding up the ball and is a weapon in the air and from set pieces.”
