Schedule Finalized Through End of Season – Two More Top Matches for Schalke

Matchdays 31 through 34 in the 2. Bundesliga have been officially scheduled. League-leading Schalke 04 will play two Saturday night matches during this period.

On Thursday (March 26), the German Football League (DFL) finalized the exact schedules for the current second-division season and set the dates for matchdays 31 through 34. FC Schalke 04 will face two Saturday night matches during prime time.

Both on Matchday 32 in their home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf (May 2, 8:30 p.m.) and away at 1. FC Nürnberg a week later (May 9, 8:30 p.m.) on the penultimate matchday of the 2025/26 second division season, the Royal Blues can look forward to an evening match.

On the final matchday, all teams will play simultaneously on a Sunday at 3:30 p.m., as usual. This year, that will be May 17. Schalke will then face Eintracht Braunschweig in their final match and could potentially celebrate their long-awaited return to the Bundesliga in their home arena.

On Matchday 31, however, an important away match against direct rival SC Paderborn awaits the league leaders. Coach Miron Muslic’s team will travel to East Westphalia on a Sunday (April 26, 1:30 p.m.) and could take a big step toward promotion there.

But first, FC Schalke 04 must tackle the upcoming matches against Karlsruher SC (April 5, 1:30 p.m.), in Elversberg (April 12, 1:30 p.m.), and at home against bottom-of-the-table Preußen Münster (April 19, 1:30 p.m.) to maintain their excellent position heading into the final stretch of the season.
