Borussia Dortmund lost 3:2 to TSG Hoffenheim at the weekend. Afterwards, the Kraichgau media department made fun of BVB coach Edin Terzic.
As if Borussia Dortmund’s 3-2 defeat at home to TSG Hoffenheim last Sunday wasn’t bad enough, coach Edin Terzic has now been mocked by his opponents in a video. Hoffenheim shared a short 24-second clip on their social media channels that ridicules an interview with Terzic.
The video begins with an original quote from Terzic from the interview he gave when Borussia Dortmund signed Jadon Sancho in the winter. “There are three questions I asked him during the talks. What do you want?” can be heard before sequences of the Hoffenheim team cheering in Dortmund are faded in. It continues with Terzic’s voice asking: “What do you need for that”.
Then we see striker Maximilian Beier marching across the pitch with the ball at his feet. After Terzic’s third question, “And what can I expect”, the 21-year-old striker’s two goals against BVB are shown in the clip.
The video caused a few laughs on social media. On X, for example, one user commented that he himself had to laugh as a Borussia Dortmund fan. An obvious BVB fan also commented: “Nice even the village club sees us as a joke. Great Edin thanks. “
The video of Terzic, which was created as part of the “BVB Stories” program in winter, went viral even back then. Many supporters of various clubs made fun of the BVB coach’s pathetic tone and questions.
Hoffenheim won 3:2 against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening despite trailing twice. Maximilian Beier scored twice in the match and now has a total of ten goals and five assists for the season. The defeat caused the mood at BVB to change. Terzic is now under close scrutiny by the bosses. BVB face Union Berlin at the weekend
