Also an RWE game – These 9 games will be broadcast on free TV

Public television will be showing no less than nine third division matches on free TV in the month of October. A Rot-Weiss-Essen match will also be broadcast.

Fans of third division clubs will get their money’s worth in October on WDR, NDR, BR, SR, SWR and MDR. The public broadcasters ARD will show the same nine matches live.

On Saturday, 1 October (2 p.m.), the match between VfL Osnabrück and Waldhof Mannheim (NDR and SWR) as well as the match between Spielvereinigung Bayreuth and Dynamo Dresden (BR and MDR) and the match between Spielvereinigung Elversberg and Sportclub Verl (SR) will be broadcast live on free TV.

One week later, two top duels will then be broadcast on the third channels. Namely the match between SV Waldhof Mannheim and 1. FC Saarbrücken (SWR/SR) as well as the Bayern derby between FC Ingolstadt and league leaders 1860 München (BR).

Rot-Weiss Essen vs. Dynamo Dresden to be seen on WDR and MDR

On 15 October (Saturday, 2 p.m.), fans of the “Sechziger” will then be in for another treat when the Löwen visit VfL Osnabrück. The match between VfL and TSV 1860 will then be broadcast on NDR and BR. On the same day, fans of spectator magnet and promoted team Rot-Weiss Essen can also look forward to a broadcast on WDR and MDR of the explosive duel against second-division relegated Dynamo Dresden.

One week later, on 22 October (2 p.m.), Dynamo Dresden can be seen again on MDR and SR when the Saxons welcome 1. FC Saarbrücken. The match between Elversberg and Osnabrück will also be broadcast on NDR.
