There is always something going on at TuS Bövinghausen. Coach Christian Knappmann, however, wants to focus on the sporting.
After the 0:2 (0:1) last weekend at Eintracht Rheine, which had been last in the table until then, there was no training on German Unity Day.
Nevertheless, it was not really quiet around the TuS Bövinghausen. Because media reports of the Ruhr Nachrichten, after which the referees raised after the 0:3 against the SpVgg Erkenschwick in the previous week in the play report sheet heavy accusations against spectators and responsible persons of the Dortmund club, made the rounds.
In this regard, calm and foresight is now the first civic duty in Bövinghausen, said coach Christian Knappmann. “We have all had to take harsh and justified criticism by our chairman Ajan Dzaferoski after the game in Rheine,” said Knappmann.
“The performance in Rheine was weak, there is no excuse for that either.” And yet, he said, it is now crucial not to act mindlessly, but to reflect on one’s strengths.
“I have said before that Rheine will not stay down there. That the knot has now burst there against us of all people, we wanted to prevent of course. But our approach must be to build on the good games before the defeat against Erkenschwick,” said Knappmann.
The league is so tight that with two or three wins we’ll be back in it. That has to be our goal and aspiration.

There was no single point that could have been singled out after the game in Rheine. If Bövinghausen brings its performance on the pitch, it will be difficult for any opponent. Even the change of coach to Thorsten Nehrbauer, whom he holds in high esteem, should not be an obstacle in this regard at the upcoming opponent Sportfreunde Siegen. “The league is so close that we are with two, three wins again. That must be our goal and aspiration,” Knappmann explained.
In the referee story, TuS Bövinghausen now has a lawyer known in the soccer scene represent them. “Horst Klettke is now taking care of these matters,” confirmed Knappmann. As a club, he said, they want to concentrate on the sporting side of things.
