Champions League: Haaland gives Man City 2 : 1 win over BVB

Thanks to Erling Haaland, Manchester City won against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. The Norwegian scored the decisive goal to make it 2-1 against his former club BVB in the 84th minute at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night. Some spoke of the 22-year-old’s dream football.

Austrian football champions Salzburg could only manage a 1-1 draw against Chelsea. Salzburg had several regular players injured. It was the second draw in the second group match.

Leipzig, with their new coach Marco Rose – and only about 900 fans who travelled to Spain – had to admit defeat in Madrid 2 : 0, but RB showed a good performance against the royals. The goals were scored by Valverde (80th minute) and Asensio (91st minute).

In Group H, Benfica Lisbon beat Juventus and Paris Saint Germain beat Maccabi Haifa. Chery scored for Haifa, while star players Messi (37th minute), Mbappé (69th) and Neymar (88th) scored for PSG in front of 30,000 spectators in a stadium with a heated atmosphere.
