Champions League: Top game between Arsenal and Sevilla, Bayern and Union are also in demand

In the Champions League, Arsenal FC will face Sevilla FC. Bayern can cement their status as group winners against Galatasaray, while Union Berlin are hoping to get their first points against Napoli.

Arsenal FC will face Sevilla FC in the Champions League this Tuesday evening at 9 p.m. After the 2-2 draw in the city derby against Chelsea in the Premier League, the English vice-champions are hoping for a victory in the Champions League. They last suffered a surprising 2-0 defeat against Lens. Thanks to the clear 4-0 victory against PSV Eindhoven, Arsenal are second in their group.

Sevilla FC are in 13th place in the league after a poor start to the season. In the last league game, they played a draw against Real Madrid. A Sevilla fan was thrown out of the stadium after racially abusing Real star Vinicius Júnior. It is not the first incident of its kind. Vinicius Júnior is repeatedly subjected to racism by opposing fans.

Sevilla FC is still waiting for its first win in the Champions League this season. Sevilla drew against Lens and Eindhoven. It remains to be seen whether the new coach Diego Alonso will be able to beat Arsenal FC. Alonso took over from his predecessor José Luis Mendilibar two weeks ago.

Matches with German participation on Tuesday

German teams are also in action in the Champions League on Tuesday. FC Bayern Munich, top of the group with six out of a possible six points so far, will face Galatasaray in Istanbul at 6:45 p.m. The Turkish champions could overtake Bayern with an upset victory.

FC Copenhagen, who made life difficult for FC Bayern for a long time in their last CL game and even took the lead, now have to play against United in Manchester at 9 p.m.

Union Berlin will also host the Italian champions from Naples at 9 p.m. So far, the stumbling Unioners have not been doing well in either the Bundesliga or the Champions League. With zero points, the capital club is last in its group. Urs Fischer’s team faces its next tough opponent in SSC Napoli.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid, the group winners, travel to Portugal to face SC Braga. If Braga manages to win, they will be level on points with Madrid. The game kicks off at 9 p.m.
