Football-Regionalligist Alemannia Aachen and a striker are going their separate ways. Both parties agreed to terminate the contract.
With his important winning goal in the 1:0 against SV Straelen in the final phase of the last regional league season, Ergün Yildiz played a part in Alemannia Aachen staying in the relegation zone, but now the striker is leaving the Kaiserstadt. Yildiz and the club have agreed on this “after an open exchange about the sporting future and possible perspectives”, as Alemannia announced.
The 24-year-old moved to Aachen from FC Pesch last winter. He had already played for the club’s youth team between 2011 and 2015. In 14 appearances during the last second half of the season, Yildiz scored two goals.
At the start of the new season last Friday against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen (1:3), the Cologne native was no longer in coach Fuat Kilic’s squad. At Alemannia he is one of twelve departures.
