Despite the cold temperatures, things heated up at FC Schalke 04’s arena on Saturday as the general meeting took place. Sven Kirstein was confirmed as a member of the supervisory board and Eder Ulupinar was newly appointed to the committee. The Gelsenkirchen native replaces Moritz Dörnemann, who failed to secure enough votes in the election.

In a special episode of “19:04 – Inside Schalke” on this year’s general meeting, we analyze the election of Ulupinar, who harshly criticized AR boss Axel Hefer in his election speech, and ask: Can the new man on the supervisory board really bring about change?
