Cruciate ligament rupture – shock for Elversberg! Dresden bring in new defender

Some things are happening in the 3rd division: Spielvereinigung Elversberg have to cope with a serious setback in terms of personnel. Dynamo Dresden, on the other hand, have signed a new player.

Spielvereinigung Elversberg got off to a great start in the 2022/2023 season with four wins and only one defeat. Now the strong league newcomer has to cope with a setback.

Carlos Sickinger suffered a cruciate ligament rupture and will be out for months. The defensive midfielder was a regular in the first matches. The 27-year-old only came to Elversberg in the summer from second-division club SV Sandhausen. It is quite possible that the Elversberg team will add Luca Dürholtz from Rot-Weiss Essen.
