Tim Korzuschek will be familiar to fans of the Regionalliga West. Most recently, he played for two traditional clubs. Now he is returning to the south-west division.
Tim Korzuschek played for Wuppertaler SV last season and previously played for Alemannia Aachen. He has now joined SG Barockstadt Fulda. This was announced by the Regionalliga-Südwest club. This is departure number 19 for WSV!
“We are delighted that we have succeeded in signing Tim Korzuschek. With Tim, we are getting a player in his prime who already has a certain amount of experience with almost 100 games in the regional league. He can be deployed flexibly in attacking midfield. Tim likes to go one-on-one and also finds solutions in tight spaces. With his calmness on the ball and creativity, we are hoping for even more goal threat in the final third,” says Fulda’s sporting director Volker Bagus.
Korzuschek, a native of Karben, was trained at Eintracht Frankfurt and Kickers Offenbach in his youth. Further stations were 1. FC Saarbrücken, then Alemannia Aachen and most recently Wuppertaler SV. The attacking midfielder made 61 appearances in the Regionalliga West, scoring eleven goals and providing four assists. To date, he has played 40 matches in the south-west division, scoring ten goals and assisting four goals. He now wants to polish up these statistics in the SG Barockstadt jersey.
“I chose SGB because I’ve been watching the club over the last few years and it’s going in the right direction in terms of sport and structure. Above all, the work here is serious. The discussions with the people in charge convinced me. I want to play a big part in ensuring that we continue on our successful path and I’m looking forward to getting to know the team,” said the former Wuppertal player at his presentation.
