In a high-class final, the 36-year-old defeated Norwegian challenger Casper Ruud 7-6, 6-3, 7-5 in 3 hours and 13 minutes in Paris.

The Serbian’s 23rd success in the four major tennis tournaments left Spain’s Rafael Nadal behind, making him the most successful tennis player in the history of the white sport.
