Dresden give up two players, Halle bring in ex-Bochum talent

There are only seven days left before the summer transfer window closes. Some clubs, such as the third division teams Dynamo Dresden and Hallesche FC, have made squad corrections.

Dynamo Dresden parted ways with two players this week. Yannick Stark is moving to the second Turkish league. He joins the second-division club Manisa FK.

The central midfielder had been under contract in Dresden since the 2020/2021 season and played a total of 73 games for the black-and-yellow team, scoring four goals. The 31-year-old moved to the SGD from SV Darmstadt 98 and celebrated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in his first season in the black-yellow jersey. With 31 games in the third division and three goals, he was one of the cornerstones of the promotion team.

Jonas Kühn and Dynamo Dresden are also parting ways. He will be moving to Regionalliga-Nordost representative FC Viktoria Berlin. The 20-year-old left-back played twice in the 3rd League and twice in the Sachsenpokal for the Sportgemeinschaft. The Plauen native moved from the Vogtland region to the Dresden youth academy in 2018 and made a total of 52 appearances for Dynamo’s U17s and U19s.

Polish striker convinces Halle FC in training

Halleesche FC have signed another striker a few days before the end of the transfer period. Dominik Steczyk is 23 years old and last played in the highest Polish league for Stal Mielec and Piast Gliwice. He signed a two-year contract at the Saale until June 2024.

“Dominik showed in the two-day trial training (RevierSport reported, editor’s note) that he has very good physical and technical prerequisites. With his style, he brings an additional component to the attack as a sensible complement to our other strikers, speaks fluent German and was eager to join us. Now it’s a matter of integrating him as quickly as possible and transferring his strengths onto the pitch,” explained HFC sporting director Ralf Minge.
