FC Schalke 04 will play their dress rehearsal before the second half of the Bundesliga season against a league rival. This was announced by S04 on Wednesday.
FC Schalke 04 has arranged another test match. One week before the first competitive match in the calendar year 2023, the team of head coach Thomas Reis will measure itself against Werder Bremen. Schalke will host Bremen in the Bundesliga on 29 April 2023.
The clash with the fellow promoted team will kick off on Saturday, 14 January, at 3.30 p.m. in the Veltnis-Arena. Tickets for the showdown with the Green-Whites are available now.

Before the match against Werder Bremen, Schalke will play two more test matches after the short Christmas break. Both matches will take place during the training camp in Belek, Turkey: On 7 January against FC Zurich and on 10 January against 1. FC Nürnberg. Kick-off is at 3.30 p.m. local time in both cases. The first Bundesliga match in the new calendar year is on Saturday, 21 January, at 3.30 pm at Eintracht Frankfurt.
