Alemannia Aachen used their current time off for a test match. Meanwhile, league rival Borussia Mönchengladbach has released a player abroad.
Alemannia Aachen won a test match at SV Eilendorf, who were relegated to the Landesliga, 4:0 (2:0) on Thursday evening. Former Essen Red-White Felix Heim (2) as well as Dimitry Imbongo and Antonio Ivic scored the goals for Fuat Kilic’s eleven.
After 25 minutes, Heim set up Sebastian Schmitt on the left, whose precise cross Imbongo headed in from close range for 1:0. Six minutes before the break, Pepijn Schlösser won the ball on the right and crossed to Heim, who scored from around 14 metres in a central position to make it 2-0.
Five minutes after the change of ends, it was Heim again who moved inside from the right and scored with his left flat into the far corner for 3-0. Ten minutes before the end, the 20-year-old Heim, for his fourth goal, played a lob to substitute senior Antonio Ivic, who scored into the right corner for the 4-0 final score. In addition to the scorer Ivic, Yasa Dogukan Eyrice and Justin Tholens from the U19s were also used in the second half.
Interesting: Felix Heim, who played an outstanding test match, is still waiting for his league debut for Alemannia. After this performance, his stock should have risen with coach Kilic.
