Borussia Dortmund has the long-awaited goal close at hand. With a 3-0 win at FC Augsburg on Sunday, BVB took advantage of FC Bayern Munich’s slip-up and retook the Bundesliga lead one matchday before the end of the season. A win against FSV Mainz 05 would mean the first German championship since 2012. Sebastién Haller with a brace and Julian Brandt scored the celebrated goals in the second half.

In their victory frenzy, the Dortmund supporters also sent special greetings to local rival Schalke 04.
