Just before the end of the transfer window, Rot-Weiß Oberhausen have made another addition.
What Forecasting already reported was confirmed by Rot-Weiß Oberhausen on Wednesday evening.
RWO have signed another player ahead of Friday’s Regionalliga West match against SV Lippstadt (7:30pm). Phil Sieben will play for the Cloverleafs with immediate effect.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who was most recently under contract with Roda Kerkrade, is already available for action on Friday. Sieben trained at VfL Lüneburg, SC Paderborn and FC Schalke 04 and, in addition to twelve games in the A-Junior Bundesliga, played 52 times in the Regionalliga West for Fortuna Düsseldorf II. He also made two appearances for the Fortuna professionals.
Now the move to Oberhausen, which Sporting Director Patrick Bauder is delighted about: “We are delighted that we were able to strengthen our attacking options with Phil before the transfer window closed. He is a player who can play all positions offensively and brings playful elements to the game.”
The new signing emphasized after signing: “The environment and the coaching team made the decision to switch to RWO easy for me. I’ve already had a great reception in my first training session and hope to play a successful season to achieve the club’s goals.”
