Manchester City vs Inter Milan is the name of the Champions League final. The English champion succeeds in the semi-final revenge against Real Madrid. And in impressive fashion.
Manchester City has entered the final of the Champions League in impressive style. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg a week ago, they dispatched the largely helpless defending champions Real Madrid 4-0 in front of their home crowd. A brace from Bernardo Silva (23rd and 37th minute) and goals from Manuel Akanji (76th) and Julián Álvarez (90.+1) sealed the semi-final exit for the royals led by German midfielder Toni Kroos.

Real coach Carlo Ancelotti, who coached his 191st Champions League game to become the record holder as head coach in Europe’s top flight, said he was a fair loser. They had lost a game in which the opponent had played better.
“How can you assume that the attitude in a Champions League semi-final was not good? The motivation and the will were completely there, but they played better than us and we have to accept that.” Next year they want to do better, said the 63-year-old Italian.
In the final in Istanbul on 10 June, Manchester City will face Inter Milan, who beat city rivals AC with two wins. Then, for the second time since 2021, the Citizens will have the chance to finally win the longed-for trophy.
