Habibovic is pleased with the “new addition” and struggles with the loss of first place

Disappointment in Dortmund-Aplerbeck. After only two match days, ASC 09 gave up the lead in the table again.

1:5 against SV Schermbeck and 1:2 against the second team of the third division team SC Verl – and the ASC 09 Dortmund, who had previously won four games in a row, lost their lead in the table.

“We ourselves are puzzled as to why this happens to us year after year. It always happens under different coaches, that we ruin the best starting positions within a few match days. However, the players are almost the same. There must be something in their heads. We have to and will look into this,” says ASC sports director Samir Habibovic.

Just two weeks ago, Marco Stiepermann’s team had the best offense and the best defense in the league. But after only two match days and two goals scored and seven conceded, these great statistics are also gone. “In the last two games, we were too gullible and made stupid individual mistakes. Somehow I lacked the last intensity. But, well: We still have enough games and hopefully we will learn from this bad phase,” says Habibovic.

ASC 09 Dortmund: Tim Kallenbach is fit again

At the beginning of the week, he was also able to convey some good news to the ASC fans. Tim Kallenbach, who underwent groin surgery at the beginning of the year, was able to play for the ASC’s Kreisliga B team last weekend. “He was pain-free and felt good. So he’s back to full strength with the first team. Tim is a welcome newcomer and will be a real asset again in the long run,” says Habibovic happily.

Next Saturday, November 2nd (2:30 p.m.), Dortmund will play against the U23 team of the second division club SC Preußen Münster. Habibovic is looking forward to this game. Habibovic: “We’ll be facing a very interesting team. But I’m sure that we can hold our own in Münster. Provided that we can find our form from two weeks ago.”
