A great battle for relegation is raging in the Westfalenliga 2. From seventh place onwards, no team is safe. An overview of the relegation candidates’ remaining programmes.
The first decisions have already been made in the Westfalenliga 2.
FC Brünninghausen and Türkspor Dortmund are in a tight race for the championship. It is already clear, however, that both clubs will decide the direct promotion and the participation in the deciding match against the runner-up of the parallel league (probably SC Peckeloh).
At the other end of the table, Westfalia Herne is no longer salvageable since the weekend. The traditional club has to cope with its second relegation in a row.
Things are also looking bad for TuS Hordel, who are second to last. The Bochum club is six points behind the first non-relegation place and has only three games left to close the gap.
Before that, however, an exciting race for the third relegation place is raging. Even SV Sodingen in fifth place, with a seven-point lead, is not finally saved. And from seventh place onwards, things get really tight: only four points separate BSV Schüren from DSC Wanne-Eickel in the red zone.
We give you an overview of the remaining programme of all the teams in danger.
