Hardly any tickets left – Bielefeld will be sold out too

The fans are flocking to RWE. After the Bielefeld game, the average will rise to over 17,000.

The euphoria at Rot-Weiss Essen is huge in the 3rd division after three wins in a row. The reward for the series: After the match day, RWE is in fifth place.

Reason enough for the spectators to continue to pack out the stadium, although this was also the case before the three-point hauls against BVB II, 1. FC Saarbrücken and MSV Duisburg. It is becoming increasingly clear that the stadium is too small for the current interest.

Next Saturday (2 p.m.) the home game against Arminia Bielefeld is on the program. And once again, RWE will report a sell-out, because currently only 600 tickets are still available.

The club reported that 18,600 tickets have already been sold. The Bielefeld curve is also packed after three wins in a row. There is a lot to be said for a football festival in the Hafenstraße stadium.

In the previous six home games, RWE welcomed 101,302 spectators, which corresponds to an average of 16,884. After the Bielefeld match, this will rise to around 17,200.

One week later, the next highlight awaits RWE – when it’s back home against traditional club Waldhof Mannheim (Sunday, November 12, 4:30 p.m.).

Advance ticket sales begin in the upcoming week. Between Monday (October 30, 10:00 a.m.) and Tuesday (October 31, 8:00 p.m.), club members have an exclusive right of first refusal. During this time, tickets can only be purchased via the online ticket shop. A maximum of two tickets can be purchased per member.
