Alemannia Aachen could soon announce a prominent new signing. Shortly before the start of the season, the final personnel planning is in full swing.

Alemannia Aachen have had six departures following their promotion to the 3rd division. Ten new players have already arrived. And three more are to follow in order to meet the demands of the third division. To kick off the 3rd division, Aachen must travel to the traditional duel at Rot-Weiss Essen (Saturday, August 3, 2 p.m.).

Nader Jindaoui could soon be a very prominent player in Aachen. Not yet due to his footballing CV, as the right winger has “only” made 125 appearances in the Regionalliga Nordost (25 goals, 24 assists). His contract with Hertha BSC, where he mostly played for the U23s and twice for the professionals, has expired.

The 27-year-old is better known for his influencer activities. He has around 2 million followers on YouTube, 2.2 million followers on Instagram and 3.2 million followers on TikTok.

However, in an interview with “rbb24” in December 2023, he said: “If you google me, it says footballer. And that’s how I feel.” And as a footballer, he could soon be causing a sensation in Aachen

In any case, Aachen’s technical director Erdal Celik tells RS: “We’re in contact. Let’s see if it works out. I think a lot of the boy.”

Another candidate in Aachen is Patrick Nkoa, who was most recently under contract with Hansa Rostock in the 2nd Bundesliga. The 25-year-old central defender is currently training with Alemannia, but the outcome is still open. After moving from Erfurt to Rostock, however, he did not make any appearances in League Two, only playing for Rostock’s U23s.

A third vacancy at the promoted team is in goal. Here, however, Aachen are looking for a clear number two, knowing that Marcel Johnen is set as number one. Dennis Gorka’s move is said to have failed due to this fact; the 22-year-old’s contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf expired in the summer.
