The last time more goals were scored in a Hinrunde was in the 1991/92 season, but at that time 20 teams played in the Bundesliga, scoring 510 times in the first 19 matchdays. In 1985/86, there were 518 goals after the first half of the season and 17 matchdays.
On Wednesday, Bayer Leverkusen’s Adam Hlozek (53rd) scored the 500th goal of the current season with a 2-0 win over VfL Bochum. The most goals were scored by Bayern Munich (51), the fewest by Schalke 04 (14).
