The share of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund lost all of last week’s gains in early holiday trading – and more.
The share price plummeted by almost 30 per cent on Whit Monday and was quoted at €4.16 shortly after ten o’clock.
On Friday evening, the share price was 5.84 euros, and 4.44 euros before the team retook the lead in the Bundesliga at the end of the season. BVB had gambled away the title on Saturday with a 2-2 draw against FSV Mainz 05; a win would have been enough for the ninth championship in the club’s history.
