In the first semi-final at Wimbledon, world number two, Tunisian Ons Jabeur beat German Tatjana Maria, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.
Jabeur will meet Kazakhstan’s Yelena Rybakina in the Wimbledon final.

Rybakina clearly beat former champion Simona Halep of Romania 6-3, 6-3 in 75 minutes in the second semi-final.
Both Jabeur and Rybakina will be in the Wimbledon final for the first time on Saturday.
Nadal unable to continue due to torn abdominal muscle
22-time Grand Slam tournament winner Rafael Nadal will not play his semi-final against Australian Nick Kyrgios at Wimbledon on Friday due to an injury. The 36-year-old tennis pro announced the decision at a press conference on Thursday evening. “I have a tear in my abdominal muscle,” the Spaniard said. “I have been thinking about my decision all day, but there is no point in competing.” He said he felt “very sad”. He could not risk too much and “sit out two, three months”.
Nadal’s withdrawal puts Kyrgios, 27, into the first Grand Slam final of his career without a fight, organisers confirmed. The Australian will thus face the winner of Sunday’s match between top-seeded defending champion Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Cameron Norrie of Britain.
Nadal, 36, had already received treatment for the injury and anti-inflammatory drugs and painkillers during his five-set win over American Taylor Fritz in the quarter-finals. With the Spaniard’s withdrawal, the chance to reach the dream final against defending champion Novak Djokovic and the first Grand Slam in men’s tennis in 53 years is over. All that was needed was two wins at Wimbledon and a triumph at the US Open to win all four major titles of the year like Rod Laver last did in 1969.
