Jürgen Klopp (56) paid a visit to the women’s national football team ahead of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand (20 July to 20 August).
The Liverpool FC team manager chatted in Herzogenaurach with captain Alexandra Popp (32), among others, and posed for photos with national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg (55). “Kloppo in the House,” the DFB team wrote on Instagram, posting a smiley face with heart eyes.
Popp and Co. have completed their first part of World Cup preparation in Herzogenaurach. After a short break, the second part begins on Saturday around the dress rehearsal against Zambia on 7 July (20.30/ARD) in Fürth.
On 11 July, the DFB squad will set off from Frankfurt/Main for Sydney. At the finals, two-time world champions Germany will face Morocco (24 July/Melbourne), Colombia (30 July/Sydney) and South Korea (3 August/Brisbane) in Group H.
