Landslide victory against league leaders, including a hat trick – KFC Uerdingen in top form

After draws against Baumberg (1-1) and Sonsbeck (2-2), KFC Uerdingen made a statement by beating league leaders SV Biemenhorst 6-1 at Grotenburg.

1943 spectators came to the Grotenburg on Thursday evening (August 28) to cheer on KFC Uerdingen against SV Biemenhorst. The visitors had no reason to regret coming.

The Krefeld team thrashed the league leaders and sent them back to Bocholt-Biemenhorst with a 1:6 defeat.

Biemenhorst coach Daniel Beine had announced that SV would not be hiding at Grotenburg. No sooner said than done: top scorer Luca Felix Puhe (7th minute) had the first attempt for the visitors. However, the Biemenhorst player’s blocked shot was no problem for KFC goalkeeper Jonas Holzum. But KFC set the tone at their home ground, Grotenburg – second corner and first goal!
Alexander Lipinski delivered the ball perfectly to birthday boy Anthony Oscasindas, who skillfully headed it into the left corner from five meters out after the second corner – 1-0 for Krefeld after ten minutes. The Uerdingen team was spurred on by their fans, but suddenly Biemenhorst struck:
Defender Dardan Pepa gave the 150 visiting fans something to cheer about with his header (17th minute) after a corner from the visitors.

However, Coach Julian Stöhr’s Krefeld team kept their cool and sealed the deal with a strong half hour before the break. Luca Ridder’s red card after 28 minutes also played into the hosts’ hands, of course.Lipinski (26th minute) scored from the penalty spot after a foul on Noel-Etienne Reck, and the outstanding Noah Elija Tomson (38th, 42nd, 45th minutes) sealed the deal with a flawless hat trick before the break – 5-1 to KFC Uerdingen!

After the restart, Lipinski (52′) made it 6-1. Three games, two draws and this resounding victory against the previous league leaders – KFC Uerdingen has arrived in the 2025/2026 season!
