After Bayern Munich’s crushing defeat in the quarterfinal first leg of the Champions League at Manchester City (0:3), there was reportedly a scandal in the dressing room.

According to consistent media reports, Sadio Mane is said to have first insulted teammate Leroy Sane and then punched him in the face. National player Sane is said to have suffered a fat lip.

Munich did not want to comment on the incident when asked by SID. The leader of the Bundesliga also remained silent on possible consequences. First the picture newspaper had reported.

During the defeat in Manchester, there were allegedly discussions on the pitch between Mane and Sane. The substitute Mane is said not to have liked the way his teammate spoke to him.
