What did the RWE game against Sandhausen show? The morale is good, the team and the coach are standing together, but there is a lack of quality here and there. We talk about this in our RWE talk show.
Rot-Weiss Essen has only won one of its last six games in the 3rd division, against SV Sandhausen, who were top of the league before the matchday, but showed a good reaction after an early shock.
So the question arises: is the glass half full or half empty? The coming weeks will show. Because now the weeks of truth are coming up before the winter break.
Four games, three of which are against teams in the lower half of the table (1860 Munich, VfL Osnabrück, VfB Stuttgart II). The pressure is mounting, and if Christoph Dabrowski’s team is to avoid an uncomfortable turn of the year, it will have to deliver.
One thing is clear: the way RWE has performed, no team will play against the coach. There was a reaction to the early 1-0, heads stayed up, morale was high. So we’re making a commitment: Christoph Dabrowski is the right man in the right place – a coaching discussion at this point in time makes no sense.
This is what we talk about in the new episode of our talk show “vonne Hafenstraße” – Inside RWE. Presenter Kira Alex discusses the topic with RWE reporter Ralf Wilhelm and forecasting editor Christian Brausch.
Another topic: access in winter. Where should what happen, which candidates would fit if the club had the budget to make any adjustments to the staff at all? Should the focus be on a striker? Or rather on a six? Maybe Marcus Steegman will use his good contacts in Cologne again. We’ll discuss it. Enjoy.
