Matchdays 13 to 17 in the 3rd division have been scheduled. MSV Duisburg and Rot-Weiss Essen will meet on Saturdays.
The DFL has announced the schedules for match days 13 to 17. For Rot-Weiss Essen and MSV Duisburg, four of the five games will be played on a Saturday, and the ball will roll once each on Sunday.
Many fans in the Ruhr region will mark Saturday, October 28, boldly in their calendars. The derby between MSV and RWE will then be played at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg at 2 p.m. The game will be played on Sunday.
For Rot-Weiss Essen, it then continues with a home double-header at Hafenstrasse. First, second-division relegated Arminia Bielefeld will be Essen’s guests on November 4 (Saturday, 2 p.m.), followed a good week later by Waldhof Mannheim (Sunday, November 12, 4:30 p.m.).
On Match Days 16 and 17, the Essen team will be back in action on Saturdays at 2 p.m.. First up is FC Ingolstadt (November 25), followed a week later by SV Sandhausen at home.
For MSV, the away trip to Mannheim is on the schedule after the derby, where MSV plays host to SV Waldhof on Sunday, November 5. The schedule continues with three games on Saturdays at 2 p.m.: first against FC Ingolstadt (November 11), then at SV Sandhausen (November 25) and to start December with the home game against VfB Lübeck (December 2).
