SC Preußen Münster has taken over sole leadership of the table. RWO earns a point against Kaan-Marienborn, Aachen the third win in a row.
SC Preußen Münster is the sole league leader in the Regionalliga West. The promotion favourites won 3-0 at SV Lippstadt, with Andrew Wooten (42nd) and Gerrit Wegkamp (84th, 90.+1) scoring the goals. Meanwhile, Kaan-Marienborn, who were equal on points, dropped points at home against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, who were shorthanded.
Although the promoted team took the lead after 17 minutes through Daniel Hammel, Leroy-Jacques Mickels (20th) and Sven Kreyer (28th) quickly turned the game around. Kaan-Marienborn only managed to equalise through Markus Pazurek (66.).
SV Rödinghausen further underpinned their ambitions for the current season and moved up to second place: In the home match against Fortuna Düsseldorf’s U23, coach Carsten Rump’s team celebrated a clear 4:1 victory. Damjan Marceta (43rd, 62nd), Niklas Wiemann (55th) and Ramien Safi (64th) scored for the East Westphalians. Marcel Mansfeld only managed the consolation goal in the 76th minute.
Meanwhile, Alemannia Aachen celebrated their third win in a row: In their home match against SC Wiedenbrück, Kilic’s team won 3:2. Franko Uzelac (21st) and Elsamed Ramaj (31st) had ensured a 2:0 lead, which Wiedenbrück equalised through Stanislav Fehler (42nd) and Manfredas Ruzgis (56th). The winning goal for Aachen was then scored by Dino Bajric in the 62nd minute
About half an hour before kick-off, the match between 1. FC Bocholt and Fortuna Köln was cancelled because the pitch was unplayable. To the annoyance of both clubs.
Already on Friday evening, Rot Weiss Ahlen had inflicted the eighth defeat in the eighth match on SV Straelen, winning 2:0.
